JANUARY 31: The schedule for our first guard contest of the year has been released!

The contest is Saturday, February 6, at Moore HS. The Middle School Guard will compete in the Cadet class, against Jenks MS, Sand Springs JH, and Southmoore "Gold". Their performance time is 12:00 noon.

The HS guard competes in Scholastic A, against Sapulpa, Crescent, Stillwater "Gold," Westmoore, and Edmond Memorial. Their performance time is at 3:45 pm. Please make plans to attend and support our state champion guard!

If your student (grades 7-12) is auditioning for the Tri-State Honor Band, music for that audition went out last week. Tapes/CDs will be due sometime during the week of Feb. 8.

Also, please remember that band fees were due several months ago. If your account is not paid in full, please make plans to do so immediately. For those of you in need of fundraiser opportunities, the band boosters are sponsoring work evenings at the Ford Center. Email the band boosters for more information.

JANUARY 10: Hope everyone's break was restful! All bands did a fantastic job at the Winter Concert, and we're very excited about the spring semester. Please make sure your student is there for their sectional; it will be one day a week at 7:15 am.

NOVEMBER 15: Our winterguard program has started rehearsals in preparation for their 2010 compettive season. If your student is interested, they may still begin attending rehearsals on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 4:00-6:30 pm. Interest has been high for winterguard, and we're excited for the possibilities for the program! Once the winterguard calendar has been finalized, it will be available on the "Guard" page of the site.
