The Pride of Piedmont is proud to use King marching instruments for all of their mellophones, baritones, and euphoniums. We are now featured on their "Kings of the Field" website, check it out here!

We also exclusively use Pearl/Adams Percussion, as well as Encore Sitcks & Mallets.

Welcome to the Website of the Piedmont Bands!

Our goal is to provide information on the many band-related programs and activities available at Piedmont High School and the Middle School of Piedmont. Use the navigation links to the left to view the resources that we offer. If you would like to contact a member of our staff, use the Staff link on the left side of the page.

GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENT: Remember that in order for your student's absence from band to be excused in the gradebook, a conflict form must be submitted 72 HOURS before the conflict, and the conflict must conform to the guidelines listed in the band handbook. Please let us remind you that as set forth in the handbook, doctor's/dentist/orthodontist appointments, work, babysitting, etc. are NOT valid excuses for missing rehearsals and will affect the student's grade.

AUGUST 18: Class tomorrow! Remember that we have Friday morning AND afternoon practices.

We have updated the calendar to reflect area univiersities' wind ensemble & percussion events. None of these events will be required, but we highly recommend attending these concerts and showing yourself what you could be doing in a few years! It is possible that you'll be on the same stage as these groups sooner than you think.

AUGUST 13: Another summer band camp is now history, after 9 scorching hot days. Students, we are very proud of your hard work and accomplishment over the last 2 weeks; we now need to keep that level of expectations going all year!

AUGUST 1: See you tomorrow!!!

JULY 22: Summer band is almost here! We hope you've enjoyed your summer and are ready to work hard. The calendar on the site is up-to-date, please (as always) make sure conflicts are kept to a minimum. Thank you!
